Kampmann AHUs installed by Lidl Ireland

Lawler Consulting have over 40 years’ experience in the retail sector, with their focus on sustainable design, which is key to everything they do.  Lawler Consulting are the lead M&E designers for all new LIDL stores.

They specified the Kampmann AHU because it offers a highly efficient, all-purpose air handling system, particularly for full store heating, cooling and fresh air ventilation.  The units are designed by Kampmann to ensure they met the client’s rigorous sustainability and efficacy standards and provide the requisite supply of fresh air.

Across the Country

To date we have supplied AHUs to the following new Lidl stores across the country and commissioning is ongoing.

  • Ballymoney
  • Drogheda
  • Limavady
  • Donegal
  • Enniscorthy
  • Adamstown
  • Kanturk
  • Clonsilla
  • Thurles
  • Portadown
  • Newtownards
  • Bagnelstown
  • Hillview Belfast

A Better Tomorrow

Lidl’s sustainability strategy focuses on a better tomorrow. In 2017 they conducted their first carbon footprint analysis to accurately assess and analyse where they were most impactful, and to effectively target specific areas in order to reduce their carbon footprint.

This included, moving to green electricity, introducing PV solar panelling to store specifications, sending zero waste to landfill etc.  Part of this wider scheme meant that the Kampmann AHU must also comply with all environmental standards set by Lidl and their engineers Lawlor’s Consulting.
