1st Permanent Headquarters in Dublin

Keane Environmental Ltd was proud to support the delivery of Apple’s new headquarters at 4 Park Place, Dublin — a landmark commercial development designed to the highest standards of workplace comfort, performance, and architectural quality.

Working alongside consulting engineers Arup and mechanical contractor Lynskey Engineering, Keane Environmental supplied a range of specialist HVAC solutions including Gilberts Invisible Grilles, Diffusion Fan Coil Units, and Pettinaroli PICV assemblies.

EnergySaver FCUs, class leading SFPs from Diffusion

At the heart of this project lies a commitment to energy efficiency, evident in every aspect of the design and specifications. With a stringent energy rating criteria mandating best-in-class SFP levels, the Diffusion 270EC Fan Coil was specified due to its cutting edge efficiency performance. 

By integrating this cutting-edge technology, Arup and Lynskey Engineering ensured optimal air circulation and comfort for occupants while significantly reducing the building’s environmental footprint.

Contemporary attractive perforated face diffusers

Throughout the building there are work spaces with Gilberts invisible or concealed grilles set above the floating ceiling.

The Gilberts Concealed Grille (GTD range) was used throughout because it offers a ‘high volume’ option that delivers increased volumes with lower relative pressure drop and noise levels but also  ensures that they are an invisible and integrated part of the ceiling design because it uses the actual perforated ceiling tile to distribute the air.
