We were delighted to support the refurbishment of the Terminal 1 Phoenix Lounge at Dublin Airport. The Phoenix Lounge refurbishment was part of Dublin Airport’s wider investment programme to modernise and upgrade the passenger experience across both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 lounges. The refurbishment formed part of the DAA’s broader ESG and sustainability strategy, which includes commitments to energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and more sustainable building operations across the airport campus.
As part of the HVAC package, Keane Environmental supplied Gilberts GSL 4-Slot Linear Grilles, to the DAA and the contractors JCPS. The grilles were specified and selected for their combination of performance, aesthetics, and flexibility within this premium lounge setting.
Why the Gilberts GSL Linear
The Phoenix Lounge refurbishment required air distribution solutions that could seamlessly integrate into a contemporary architectural design while also delivering excellent occupant comfort. The Gilberts GSL linear grille was specified because it offers:
