Heat Recovery Process

In environments heated or cooled by air conditioning systems, the concentration of carbon dioxide and other harmful gases in the indoor air increases, leading to poor-quality indoor air. The exhausted air, carrying its heat load, passes through the plate heat exchanger of the IGK Heat Recovery Unit, conditioning the incoming fresh air. This process enables up to 50% heat recovery from the expelled poor-quality indoor air, increasing energy efficiency.

Efficiency and Speed Control Features

IGK Heat Recovery Units offer quiet operation and high efficiency with AC or EC plug fans. The airflow can be adjusted at the desired rate with the speed switch, which comes standard with the product, providing customized solutions based on user needs.

HPGK Heat Pump Heat Recovery Units are designed to meet the fresh air needs of areas such as restaurants, shops, and historical buildings, where air conditioning is used for heating and cooling, but fresh air is not supplied. These units are preferred to prevent the load of fresh air conditioning from being placed on air conditioning systems in newly designed spaces.

Heat Recovery Process

When the indoor air is exhausted, the heat load it carries is collected in the plate heat exchanger of the BGK Bypass Damper Heat Recovery Unit, conditioning the incoming fresh air. This process enables the recovery of up to 50% of the heat load of the exhausted air. The bypass damper provides a free-cooling function for the heat exchanger and offers freeze protection.
