As part of its $2 billion expansion of the Hillerød facility in Denmark, global healthcare leader Novo Nordisk is significantly increasing its production capacity to meet future market demands. This large-scale development includes a new 65,000-square-meter multi-product facility, a $409 million state-of-the-art quality control laboratory, and extensive upgrades to the site’s energy supply and traffic infrastructure.

Jacobs Engineering are the consulting engineers on the project and specified Diffusion Energy Saver 270 Waterside Fan Coil Units, supplied by Keane Environmental Ltd in Dublin. The selection was based on Jacobs’ trust in Keane Environmental Ltd as a reliable supplier, and Diffusion’s reputation for delivering high-performance, energy-efficient HVAC solutions that support ambitious carbon reduction goals.

The installation of the fan coils is being carried out by S&H Klimateknik A/S, specialist contractors with deep expertise in establishing and servicing advanced cooling solutions for critical environments.
