Easy, fast installation
The PowerKon LT can be installed particularly easily and quickly and is ideal for renovations and the switch to a heat pump system. Retrofitting is possible in existing buildings without major interventions – even during ongoing operation.
Easy maintenance
The simple design, smooth visible surface and hidden air intake opening on the underside of the unit enable easy inspection and cleaning of the air filter. For maintenance of the internal components, the design casing can be removed without tools.
Application areas
It is suitable for non-residential as well as residential areas. All occupied rooms, whether in a single-family home, office building or administrative building, are water-based temperature controlled by PowerKon LT.
High Ceilings
In heating mode, the Ultra Allround achieves an effective vertical penetration depth of up to seven meters. In cooling mode, the air is distributed sideways in all directions with a throw of up to five meters.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why Should I choose a PowerKon LT heat pump-based heater?
A heat pump radiator enables particularly efficient room heating. It uses renewable energy and therefore operates in a very environmentally friendly way. In combination with a heat pump, it creates an energy-saving and economical solution for heat supply.
What advantages does the heat pump-bases heater offer compared to a convential heater?
A heat pump radiator operates much more energy-efficiently and in a more environmentally friendly way than conventional radiators. It uses the ambient heat provided by the heat pump, resulting in lower energy costs and reduced CO₂ emissions. In addition, it achieves the desired heat output even at significantly lower flow temperatures.
Which dimension is right for the PowerKon LT heat pump-based heater
The right size of the PowerKon LT heat pump radiator plays a decisive role in choosing the right heating system. A radiator that is too large or too small can impair the efficiency of your heating system and lead to problems.
PowerKon LT is available in different sizes and versions to meet individual requirements. The optimum size depends on several factors, including room size and the required heat output. PowerKon LT is usually available in three different model sizes. Calculate the right performance data for your project here.
Is the heat output sufficient for existing buildings as well?
Yes, heat pump radiators are also suitable for existing buildings. They can be used for both new buildings and renovations, as they are available in various sizes and output levels and can be adapted to individual requirements. Even at low heating temperatures, they provide high heat output.
Which room is PowerKon LT suitable for?
PowerKon LT was developed for versatile application areas – both for living spaces such as living rooms and bedrooms and for office spaces. Thanks to its sophisticated design, the radiator operates particularly quietly, ensuring undisturbed operation even in sleeping or working areas.
How complex is installation?
Installing a PowerKon LT is straightforward. During a renovation, the old radiator including fixings and valve block is first removed. Then, thanks to its compact dimensions and low weight, PowerKon LT can be installed easily by a single person. The hydraulic and electrical connection is then carried out as usual.
Does PowerKon LT offer a cooling function for summer?
Yes, PowerKon LT can also be used for cooling in summer. For this purpose, it is supplied with cold water by the heat pump. A basic distinction is made between dry and wet cooling.
Dry cooling is always possible if the heat pump has a cooling function.
Wet cooling enables particularly high cooling output through significantly lower water temperatures. In this case, however, condensate drainage – for example into the sewage system – is required, and the pipework must be insulated to be vapor diffusion-tight.
Does every heater have to be replaced during a renovation?
No, replacement is only necessary in rooms where the existing radiators do not provide the required output. The existing radiators should be checked in advance for the desired flow temperature. A heating load calculation shows which radiators are critical – namely those that do not provide sufficient heat at the planned flow temperature.
Can a heat pump-based heater be used with a gas boiler?
Yes, operating a heat pump radiator with a gas boiler is possible. Using this type of radiator can reduce the required flow temperature of the heating system, which leads to lower energy consumption and therefore reduced heating costs.
Can PowerKon LT be connected to an existing pipe network?
In principle, PowerKon LT can also be connected to an older pipe network. Before connection, however, it should be checked whether the existing lines and connections meet the requirements of PowerKon LT. Adjustments or modernization may be necessary to ensure optimum performance and safe use. We recommend having the connection carried out by a specialist company to avoid risks.
Is PowerKon LT available in other colours?
PowerKon LT is supplied as standard in white with gray side panels. However, individual color requests can also be implemented on request.
Can a heat pump-based heater be operated in a one-pipe system?
PowerKon LT is not suitable for one-pipe systems. Since it only has a straight-through valve, shutting off one radiator would interrupt the supply to downstream units.
Life cycle assessment data (EPD)
We assess the environmental impact of our products across their entire life cycle („cradle to cradle“) and publish the results transparently in our Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). These EPDs can be easily integrated into leading building certification systems such as DGNB, BREEAM or LEED and are available in the download section.
