Keane Environmental Ltd. was proud to support the delivery of high-performance HVAC solutions for 1 Park Place, the prestigious Dublin office development for Dropbox’s EMEA headquaters.

Working closely with Metec Engineering (consulting engineers) and CJK (mechanical contractor), Keane Environmental supplied a package of energy-efficient products to meet the demanding performance and comfort requirements of this landmark building.

Key product contributions included Diffusion Energy Saver Fancoils, Gilberts GSFB Perforated Square Diffusers, and Pettinaroli Pressure Independent Control Valves (PICVs).

Energy Saver Fancoils from Diffusion – Quiet, Efficient Climate Control

To optimise indoor air quality and thermal comfort while keeping energy use low, Diffusion’s Energy Saver Fancoils were selected. Installed throughout the building, these fancoils offer:

  • High energy efficiency, helping reduce operational costs and environmental impact.

  • Quiet operation, ensuring minimal disruption in the open-plan office environment.

  • Compact, slimline design, ideal for ceiling or concealed installations without compromising aesthetics.

Gilberts GSFB Perforated Square Diffusers – Discreet, Balanced Air Distribution

Air distribution in the high-spec fit-out was achieved using Gilberts GSFB Perforated Square Diffusers. These versatile ceiling diffusers were chosen for their:

  • Even and draught-free air distribution, enhancing occupant comfort across diverse working zones.

  • Discreet, flush-mount design, integrating seamlessly into contemporary ceiling layouts.

  • Adjustable airflow characteristics, suitable for both supply and extract applications.

The GSFB diffusers contribute to the building’s sleek, modern aesthetic while maintaining optimal airflow.

Pettinaroli PICV Assemblies – 

Precision Flow Control for Optimised Efficiency

To ensure effective hydronic balancing and thermal regulation across the system, Keane Environmental supplied Petinarolli PICVs. These valves deliver:

  • Automatic pressure-independent control, reducing commissioning time and complexity.

  • Consistent flow rates, supporting system stability and energy performance.

  • Compact design, perfect for tight plantroom and ceiling void applications.

By regulating flow precisely to meet actual demand, these PICVs play a crucial role in maximising system efficiency and reducing long-term energy consumption.
